The Hyundai Santa Fe is the fastest growing compact SUV
Hyundai's first SUV, the
Santa Fe has reached its millionth sale in the United States since its introduction in September 2000. Before Hyundai released the
Santa Fe, they were known primarily for selling inexpensive, compact cars. The
Santa Fe revamped the brand, as well as gained a completely new group of car buyers.
"Entering the market with distinctive design, great equipment and backed by industry leading quality, Santa Fe soon became one of the best-selling crossovers in the industry,"
according to the Hyundai press release.
The
Hyundai Santa Fe is an award-winning crossover that is made today in West Point, Georgia. The
Santa Fe came out strong with a top rating in the 2001 Vehicle Satisfaction Index from Auto Pacific, to being named U.S. News and World Report's "Best 3-Row Midsize SUV" and "2013 Best Car for the Money".
