The Hyundai Accent, among nine other vehicles, received Interior of the Year by Ward's AutoWorld (typically known for their 10 Best Engines list). Ward's didn't place a particular order on their top ten, but if you list them by price lowest to highest, guess which one is first?

Congratulations to the Accent!

What is Auto Armor?

What is Auto Armor & Should I get it?

Burlington Hyundai Auto Armor
Auto Armor is basically a protection for your investment; it ensures that the environment can do as little damage as possible to your vehicle, and if it does – we’ll fix it. There are three elements to Auto Armor – interior, undercoating and paint sealer.

Interior covers spills. If anything spills on the inside of your car and it stains, we’ll replace it for free. A perk? You can’t even tell it’s there. This specific protection is only available on cloth seating surfaces on vehicles with 3,000 miles or less at application, and lasts for five years.

Undercoating protects your vehicle against salt and rust perforation and is good for for 10 years years, unlimited miles.

Paint sealer is a five-year paint protection. Should your vehicle's exterior be damaged by sun exposure, weather-induced acid rain, tree sap or bird droppings on factory-painted surfaces during the first five years from product application, your reapplication is covered. Both paint sealer and undercoating must be applied on vehicles that have 3,000 miles or less on them as well.

Burlington Hyundai Auto Armor
So most importantly, how much does it cost? And should I get it?

It costs $699 for interior, undercoating and paint sealer. As for getting it, there are two main things to think about; taking care of your vehicle (and the costs to do so) and the value of your trade in. According to our Business Manager, when you have two vehicles next to each other at trade-in time, one that had Auto Armor and one without, “they are night and day."

If you have any questions, please comment below and we'll be sure to get back to you as quickly as possible!

Five Hyundai Models Named "Most Loved in America" by Strategic Vision

In honor of Valentine's Day last week, the Hyundai Elantra GT, Sonata, Genesis, Equus and Santa Fe were all named to Strategic Vision's "Most Loved Vehicles in America" list. Having five models on the list gave Hyundai the upper hand in scores; it was the only manufacturer with that many models.

"Hyundai owners really love their cars," said President of Strategic Vision Alexander Edwards in the Hyundai press release. "They had more segment winners in cars than any other brand... 'Love' should be on any brand's internal scorecard and is the pinnacle of achievement. Hyundai's results demonstrate its commitment to customers and in turn their loyalty."

The "love" scores are comprised using commitment, overall satisfaction, total top emotional responses, proposed repurchase loyalty and actual repurchase loyalty to determine a "Most Loved Index", which has a score that ranges from 1-1,000; 1 being "Hate it" and 1,000 being "Love it".

Which one do you love the most? Check 'em all out at our Hyundai Digital Showroom here.

Hyundai Veloster Turbo Wins Kelley Blue Book's "5-Year Cost to Own Award"

The Hyundai Veloster Turbo has just received Kelley Blue Book's (KBB) 5-Year Cost to Own Award in the Sporty Compact Car category. The Veloster Turbo came out on top over competitors such as the Mazda Speed3 and Honda Civic Si. The award was presented to Hyundai on Feb. 6 at the Chicago Auto Show.

KBB's 5-Year Cost to Own Awards are based on data collected by KBB and honor those cars that have the lowest projected ownership costs over the initial five-year ownership time frame. Their data accounts for almost all expenses that come with owning a vehicle, including depreciation, projected fuel cost, finance and insurance fees, maintenance and repairs, and state fees.

"The Veloster Turbo's impressive fuel economy and low depreciation, coupled with Hyundai's 10-year, 100,000 mile warranty, make it an excellent choice for those looking for a fun, compact sports car," said Kelley Blue Book Vice President of Vehicle Evaluations Dan Ingle in the Hyundai press release.

The Hyundai Veloster Turbo is only improving as years go on. Go ahead and check out our Hyundai Veloster details page here!
