The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) just awarded the 2014 Hyundai Veloster with a five-star crash test rating, their highest rating. This is the Veloster's first time being rated under NHTSA's more challenging test and five-star rating system.
"The Veloster nameplate was designed to bring a new, unconventional look to the subcompact car segment without compromising occupant safety," said Scott Margason, director of Product Planning at Hyundai Motor America in the Hyundai press release. "Through the employment of high-tech safety systems like Electronic Brake-force Distribution and Brake Assist and the use of high-strength, yet lightweight materials during construction, we are able to deliver a package that is unique, but safer than ever."
The Veloster is having a great year already! It was just awarded Best Value in America by Vincentric last week. Check out our 2014 Veloster showroom page today!
