2015 Hyundai Genesis Awarded with Top Safety Pick+ Honor by the IIHS

The 2015 Hyundai Genesis has just been awarded with an Insurance Institute of Highway Safety (IIHS) Top Safety Pick+ accolade, making it the first and only rear-wheel drive car in its class to receive the highest IIHS honor, according to the Hyundai press release.

"The TOP SAFETY PICK+ designation recognizes state-of-the-art safety," said IIHS President Adrian Lund in the Hyundai press release. "The new Genesis is not only engineered to protect people when crashes happen, but with its optional automatic emergency braking system rated superior in our tests, this car can help drivers avoid some of the most common kinds of collisions altogether."
