Elantra Officially in 10 Best Green Cars of 2012!

The Hyundai Elantra is starting to need its own trophy room, as its just been officially named one of Kelly Blue Book's 10 Best Green Cars of 2012! KBB has released this list just in time for Earth Day, so that potential car buyers have something else to consider when deciding on which vehicle to purchase.

Fuel efficiency is one thing, as the Elantra achieves 40 MPG (alongside its siblings, the Accent, Sonata Hybrid and Veloster). But KBB also looked at comfort, value and features, which landed the Elantra a spot on the list.

Congratulations (again) to the Elantra! And if you'd like to be a proud owner of the North American Car of the Year (slash one of the Best Green Cars of 2012) click here to view our new and used Elantra inventory.

Congratulations to the Accent!

Review of the 2012 Hyundai Genesis

We just found the latest review of the Hyundai Genesis, which is quite honestly the first review I've ever read that had nothing negative to say whatsoever! Well, save for the one thing the reviewer deemed the only downfall - the sunglasses case was too small for her sunglasses.

Check out this stellar review from the Dunwoody Crier, here.

If that review makes you want one, definitely understandable. And also possible - click here for our Hyundai Genesis and Hyundai Genesis Coupe inventory.

The current Santa Fe (with two rows of seating that seats five) will now be the "Santa Fe Sport", and the new "Santa Fe" will now have three rows of seating, fitting seven passengers.

The interior and exterior are all redesigned, boasting a sharper look with higher-end, crisp features. This new model line will be available as early as this summer, but if you simply can't wait to own a Santa Fe of your own, click to view the new and used ones we've got in stock today.

Hyundai Gets No. 1 Rating in Fuel Economy

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has rated the Hyundai brand as best in fuel economy and lowest in CO2 emissions, according to their Light-Duty Automotive Technology and Fuel Economy Trends Report.

The report also states that Hyundai is the only brand with four different models achieving 40 mpg or higher on the highway. This list includes the Hyundai Sonata Hybrid, the Accent, the Veloster M/T and Elantra (click any of the models to view our inventory for that vehicle online).

Hyundai Hope On Wheels Will Surpass $57 Million Donation to Pediatric Cancer Research by the end of 2012

In a press release published yesterday, Hyundai announced their commitment to surpass the $57 million dollar milestone in donations raised to support childhood cancer research. Hyundai is one of the leading funders in the nation, and has continued to show support through their nonprofit, Hope On Wheels, for 14 years. This year, Hyundai has named C.J. George, a 13-year-old cancer survivor, the Hope On Wheels National Youth Ambassador of the 2012 campaign.

Hope On Wheels focuses its fundraising primarily on children's hospitals around the United States and those hospitals' research on pediatric cancer, as well as building awareness about the importance of the cause.

"Best Values in America" Goes to Four Hyundai Vehicles

On the basis of eight different cost factors, including depreciation, fuel, insurance, opportunity cost, financing, maintenance, repairs, tax and state fees, four different Hyundai models were said to have the Best Values in America. (If you're interested in any of the following award winners, just click the model and it'll bring you to that model's inventory page on our site.)

The choices are as follows; the Hyundai Tucson, which has the lowest operating costs in its category. The Hyundai Accent, with its "better than average results with fuel, insurance, and operating costs," according to the article. Next is the Hyundai Elantra (no surprises here!), which has a cost of ownership that rests at 6 percent lower than expected (not to mention its three Car of the Year Awards, so far). Lastly the Hyundai Genesis Coupe, boasting best-in-class scores for depreciation, insurance and repair costs.

The article featuring the four stand-out Hyundai models quotes Scott Marganson, director of Product Planning, Hyundai Motor America, “'The Accent, Elantra, Genesis Coupe and Tucson are all prime examples of models that not only meet but exceed customer expectations when it comes to value... Hyundai’s high fuel economy vehicles combined with its strong Assurance program reduces the overall cost of ownership and allows the company to offer quality vehicles with very strong residual values.'"
